SemanticBits is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract to provide software engineering and project management services to the National Cancer Institute’s Clinical Trials Reporting Program (CTRP) for the current fiscal year, beginning on October 1, 2014. SemanticBits has been supporting CTRP in this role since January 2012. CTRP was officially launched in 2009 and currently contains detailed information on over 10,000 active cancer clinical trial — and includes data, such as biomarkers and detailed accruals, not readily available from other repositories. In the coming year, SemanticBits will be leading the technical effort to enable CTRP to serve as the single source of verified information for NCI’s Clinical Trial portfolio management and as the source of public information on NCI-supported clinical trials by Cancer.gov.
