SemanticBits is seeking a talented Human Resources Manager to join our staff. This person will be expected to successfully implement HR strategy and deliver high-quality customer service within the organization. The HR Manager will work closely with management and other departments to ensure SemanticBits’s continued success.

The successful candidate for this position will be a highly organized self-starter with excellent communication and personal skills. As the HR Manager, you will support and care for our employees and will be called upon to bring a fair and professional perspective to business interactions with the overarching goal of growing and improving SemanticBits and its endeavors.


  • Provides leadership, motivation and mentoring to company departments and individuals, ensuring that all HR operations are functioning at a high level and supporting the organization as a whole
  • Supports on-boarding and off-boarding activities for all employees
  • Supports employee relation activities and provides counsel to various departments
  • Manages a recruitment and selection process that promotes SemanticBits as a top quality employer
  • Oversees a performance review system that encourages high performance and supports emerging leaders amongst staff
  • Oversees leave of absence, workers compensation and benefit programs
  • Manages requests for HR data
  • Oversees learning, training and development programs
  • Stays up-to-date on trends and developments within the human resources field; constantly researches and implements best practices
  • Ensures regulatory compliance of all departments
  • Manages payroll functions
  • Focuses heavily on recruitment and acquisition of new talent
  • Other duties as assigned


  • People-oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrated experience with HR metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships throughout the company
  • Professional, high-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Extensive knowledge of HR best practices
