SemanticBits Releases Upgrade to SSTS

SemanticBits is pleased to announce the release of an SSTS upgrade, designed to make it easier to schedule instrument use in laboratories where equipment is shared among several researchers. The new feature, built for the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), was implemented into the appointment calendar system to allow users to populate a calendar with their name and reserved time for working with an instrument. The user is able to modify the block of time for his/her reservation as necessary, and administrators have the option of adding or removing scheduled blocks as needed. This upgrade makes scheduling instrument use efficient and transparent for all the researchers in a given lab.
