SemanticBits has been awarded a contract with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to provide assistance on the design and implementation of digital services in support of the Office on Women’s Health (OWH). This work will require the development of a new, interactive online data query system, as well as operations and maintenance responsibilities. Additionally, SemanticBits will take on licensing, cloud-hosting and other required functionality necessary for the system to appropriately perform and be compliant with legal, security, and other proposed approaches. By leveraging AngularJS, NodeJS, and ElasticSearch—among other technologies—we will implement a web application that will allow citizens, government employees, and legislators alike to search women’s health data from 13 different datasets of the CDC and Census.
