Design, develop and deploy software applications in the healthcare/bioinformatics domain. Develop solutions for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Gather requirements and prepare software specifications, design, and test case documents. Perform software designing, modeling, prototyping, and testing based on system specifications and requirements. Code and develop complex use cases. Develop web services. Perform bug and issue tracking. Resolve project dependencies. Utilize deep understanding of technologies and architecture, best practices and standards. Use a variety of tools and technologies, such as Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, XML/XSL, BPM, ESB, SOA, Struts, HTML, JMS, Tomcat, Eclipse, Websphere, Weblogic, UML, JSP, Servlets, Oracle, SVN, SCRUM, JIRA, JUnit, and Unix/Linux. Requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or a closely related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst or in a related position. Must be proficient in all phases of software development lifecycle. Must be proficient in Java/J2EE technologies.
