As January comes to a close, SemanticBits is pleased to announce that 2017 has gotten off to a strong start.

The month’s updates include the addition of two new members to the SemanticBits team. Ralph Trautwein was recently brought on board as a Senior Program Manager overseeing all of SemanticBits’s projects with the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS). Ralph is a seasoned Program Manager who had previously been working at CMS through General Dynamics Information Technology. Alex Seeling has also recently joined the SemanticBits team to fill the role of Proposal Manager.

SemanticBits is also pleased to announce several milestones in its work with CMS on the Data Exchange System (DEX). DEX will focus on implementing a modern, web-based system to allow states to share Medicaid provider terminations with the federal government and with other states. In January, SemanticBits was able to complete an MVP release for DEX and demo it to CMS leadership.
